8-ZONE MUSIC AND ANNOUNCEMENT CONTROL SYSTEM ZONE8 is PROEL’s answer for general or zone-selectable announcements and program material. It can manage up to 8 zones and can be configured to use a single amplification system for program material and announcements, or separate amplification for each. The ZONE8 accepts input from up to 18 different microphone control bases connected through a CAT5 interface, can be configured to accept announcement input from telephones through the internal exchange, and can be easily interfaced with alarm systems.

The ZONE8 can be used in three main configurations:

• A. With a single amplifier – Permits zone-specific announcements with program interruption in all zones
• B. With two amplifiers Permits continuous program material during announcements in zones not selected for the announcement
• C. With Eight or more amplifiers for large systems permits continuous program material during announcements in zones not selected for the announcement continuous program material during announcements in zones not selected for the announcement.
